Acrylic painting on .75 inch mounted canvas. This artwork is vertical, measuring at 22×28 inches. This design was pulled from several inspirational experiences. The background was created based off a devolving idea from doing the stripes in the painting “Stereo Striping” and then the forest in the painting “Many Moons”. The design stemmed from readings of Celtic Folk Lore, a Stellar System class I was taking and a seasonal forest. There are many moments where I have multiple artworks going at a time so to say how long it took me becomes difficult. I will spend entire days lost in the creative process. If I had to put a number to it, I would say it took me the upwards of 50-70 hours of brain space and physical action to create this painting. It is done in Heavy body acrylics and top coated with a polyurethane spray, a UV Protectant and sparkle spray. Painted by artist Crystal Solgot in 2024.
